Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or otherwise using NGENA (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who can use NGENA

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service, and the details you give us when you register must be accurate.

3. Listings

General users submit an application for a listing; a NGENA agent reviews and verifies it before it goes public. Vendors marked as trusted may publish accessory listings directly. Either way, the person submitting a listing is responsible for making sure it is accurate, that they have the right to sell or rent the item, and that it does not violate any law.

NGENA may remove or withdraw a listing at any time, including where it appears inaccurate, prohibited, or reported by another user.

4. Reservations

Boarding-house rooms are reserved by talking to a NGENA agent on WhatsApp. The agent records the reservation in NGENA. There is no in-app payment or checkout. Any money is arranged with the agent.

5. Bus travel

Seat bookings are made against a carrier's published routes and availability. A carrier may request a passenger's real contact number for the purpose of a single booked trip; that request is recorded for accountability.

6. Conduct

You agree not to:

• List an item you do not have the right to sell or rent.
• Use the Service to defraud, harass, or misrepresent yourself to another user.
• Attempt to move a transaction outside the Service to avoid its protections.
• Interfere with the security or operation of the Service.

7. Agent and carrier verification

Listings marked as agent-verified have been reviewed against the details available to the agent at that time. Verification reduces risk; it is not a guarantee, and you should still exercise ordinary judgement before a transaction, viewing or trip.

8. Account suspension

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, is used fraudulently, or poses a risk to other users of the Service.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is.” NGENA facilitates connections between students and verified listings through its agents. There is no in-app payment. NGENA is not a party to the underlying rental. To the extent permitted by law, NGENA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from an agreement between users.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
